The Fabulous 1950s. As our bakery was founded in 1949, the 1950s became the time when the bakery started to have it made in the shade. Christian Olesen, the first generation, opened his bakery with a dream to make outstanding danish pastries and bakery. Kringle during this time featured traditional flavors and were topped with coarse sugar. We take the best mediterranean apricots and create our scratch made filling, then finish this Kringle with a sprinkling of sugar. When you take your first bite, you'll flip your lid. The flaky dough, the sweet apricot filling, and the crunchy sugar glaze will have you going steady all the way to Kringleville.

The Sweet 1970s. As Hawaiian culture became more mainstream, the pineapple arrived in style. The skinny is this tropical golden fruit boogied it's way into the hearts of the 2nd generation, Ray and Myrna. They found that if you blended this sun-kissed sweet filling with our delicious nutty pecans and cane brown sugar it made for an absolutely groovy combination. Topped with sweet icing and sugared pecan pieces, this Kringle is slammin' and will keep the Aloha spirit going.

The Nifty 1990s. Over the years our family enjoyed trying new ingredients and flavors. And while poppyseed is a traditional and authentic pastry option in Denmark, also known as Tebirkes, this is the decade that poppyseed became more popular. Perhaps it was the fact that a poppyseed cake won a nationwide baking contest. And when we talked of favorites to bring back, Eric and Lisa who are the 3rd generation, said "no duh", this is the one we are doing. We start with a layer of almond with our smooth and rich custard filling and blend it with crunchy and nutty poppyseeds. Each slice melts in your mouth, as the streusel and icing on top adds that perfect amount of buttery sweetness. This Kringle is fly!

The Tasty 2020s. To say that we've had an explosion of new flavors over the past few years may be an understatement. However, when you ask Peter and Alyson, the 4th generation, about their GOAT flavors, it often starts with a Macaron cookie topping.
