RESPONSIBILITY WITH FOOD and ALLERGENS
Being an artisan bakery, we take quality and food safety seriously. Our bakery is a Safe Quality Food (SQF) certified facility and our employees have rigorous processes and procedures whenever they are in our bakery and making our delicious Danish delight. This includes special procedures and handling with allergens that we take extremely seriously. We’ve found that doing things the right way is always of the utmost importance, whether it’s our cleaning procedures, our commitment to baking, and our shipping to your door.
We believe in having a little Hygge (hoo-ga), Danish for the good life, and we thank you for being a loyal customer and we appreciate working with us as a community of bakers, employees, customers and friends. How do I sign into my account when I forget my user name or password?
Hey, no worries! We all forget something. Your username is different from your password, and is case sensitive!
The sign in link is normally displayed on the top-right side of each page. Just click on the sign in link and scroll down to “forgot username or password” and fill out the boxes. We’ll get you back to remembering in no time!

Is the information that I provide O&H Danish Bakery kept private?
We know how important privacy is, particularly these days. We take your privacy seriously, just as much care as we put into making our delicious bakery. But if you want to know more, please see our Privacy Policy. It will explain everything we are doing to keep your information private.

Does O&H Danish Bakery help organizations with Fundraising?
Absolutely! We think being active in our community is important and try our best to help organizations achieve their fundraising goals. If you are interested in fundraising please call 262-631-5398. Ask to speak with our fundraising coordinator and they can help determine whether we can help your organization out!

Do you sell gift boxes separately?
We do have gift boxes available for Christmas! Although they are beautiful by themselves, we do not sell gift boxes separately. Gift boxes are only available when purchasing 2 or more of our Kringle. Bummer, we know, but we promise our bakery is outstanding!

Why is O&H Danish Bakery Collecting Sales Tax?
Vikings may have freely roamed the seas, but even they likely had to pay taxes. Each state and local municipality is different so we must collect tax depending on where we deliver our bakery. If taxes do apply, that will be visible during checkout at our summary pages. All taxes will be automatically calculated and applied for any orders via the phone or internet.
A note from Alabama: Seller has collected the simplified sellers use tax on taxable transactions delivered into Alabama and the tax will be remitted on the customer’s behalf to the Alabama Department of Revenue. Can I change my order online?
Unfortunately you cannot change your own order online. It’s really because every golden ring of Kringle is so precious it deserves extra special attention. Being more specific, changes often require us to ensure many things are right in the process, from packing, to labeling to shipping, so we need to make sure we go step by step to get any change absolutely correct. If you need help changing an order, contact us via our customer service page.
Kringle Questions

Can I order Kringle if the person is allergic to legumes or nuts?
Darn allergies! We do not use peanuts in our bakery however we do bake with tree nuts including pecans, almonds, walnuts, cashews, macadamia nuts, and a few others. With that being said, our Kringle are made in a separate area from most of our other products. We thoroughly clean those areas after we produce a flavor that includes nuts to reduce the chance of them getting into other bakery. While we do our best to clean everything, some of our other bakery products are made in areas that share equipment with product that has nuts in it. We have our nutritional information listed for each item, just click on Nutrition on the red banner on the item page. How do I warm up a Kringle?
Kringle is best served at room temperature or warmed in the oven. Remove the Kringle from the wax bag, remove the plastic sheet and remove from the plastic tray. If a warm Kringle is desired, place in a 350 degree oven for 3 1/2 minutes. Kringle can also be warmed in a microwave. When ready to serve, cut Kringle into 1 or 2 inch slices. Then watch for approving looks and gestures. For storage, Kringle freezes well. To thaw, let stand for 6 hours at room temperature or 12 hours in a refrigerator.

How long will Kringle stay fresh?
Kringle stay fresh a long time although we recommend 7 days at room temperature, 10 days in the refrigerator, or 6 months in the freezer. We seriously doubt it will last that long, since they are quite delicious, but it’s always nice to know you have options!

What size and weight are each Kringle?
Most of our Kringle are 24 ounces (1 lb. 8 oz.) net weight and are on average 10 inches wide, 14 inches long, and 1 inch high. Sometimes we have some seasonal flavors that are slightly larger, but if you ever are curious you can take a look at each product’s label on our website and that should help explain the size and weight.

How many servings are there in 1 Kringle?
A Kringle serves 12-2 inch slices (about 2 oz. per slice). But if you want to save a bigger slice for yourself, hey we don’t judge!

Can the flavor for the Kringle-of-the-Month be changed?
Yes. We are happy to make accommodations for our customers, particularly ones with health related needs. We want your experience to be great down to every last slice, so just ask us!

When will Kringle-of-the-Month orders be shipped?
I know! It’s so hard to wait! Kringle-of-the-Month orders are shipped from our facility on the first Tuesday of the month. Deliveries to the recipient are made by Thursday of the same week, so keep an eye out for that delicious pastry to arrive!

Can I change the items in a gift package?
Unfortunately we do not substitute items in gift packages. But don’t worry, you can always build your own orders, so you can get every item you desire. Ooh,that looks good. This one too...
Shipping Questions

What do I do if I received my package late, damaged or the order was never received?
Oh no! Please be assured if there is anything wrong with your order we will gladly make it right for you - your orders are guaranteed because we want everything to be perfect, down to the last slice. Please contact 1-877-369-3565 for assistance or use the link below to send a note to our help desk.

Can you ship to a post office box?
Yes, we can! However, there is an additional charge of $5.01 per ship-to address above the standard shipping charge to ensure it gets delivered correctly. Furthermore, because this uses the post office, please allow more than 2 days for the package to be delivered.

Can I ship to a foreign, A.P.O or F.P.O destination?
Yes we can. But because of the added requirements, additional shipping charges will apply. Just let us know if you have questions!

What carrier do we use for shipping and when should I expect delivery?
We work with the lovely people at UPS as our carrier of choice. Although, we cannot give you a specific time of delivery, any orders shipped to a business will be delivered by 5:00pm while orders shipped to a residence will be delivered by 7:00pm. If an email address is included with the order the UPS tracking number will be sent allowing you to track your shipments on-line.

Why am I not able to select certain dates for delivery on your delivery date calendar?
We want you to get our bakery in its absolute best condition, so some dates may not be available based on what days work best for shipping our delicious pastries. Other shipping dates may be blocked off for normal holiday closures. Our goal is to get our bakery as quickly from our ovens to your home as possible. We want it to be perfect, so sometimes that means we have to wait or move a date to ensure that happens. We know. Waiting is the hardest part.

Can I use my own UPS shipper number?
You have your own number, that’s pretty cool! With normal everyday shipping we do not allow the use of 3rd party shipper numbers. In some cases, for larger gift giving orders we will accommodate the use of 3rd party UPS shipper numbers. Unfortunately, we do not ship via Fedex unless special arrangements are made (additional charges may apply). Again, we are happy to help, so let us know how we can best serve you.

How do I place an order without creating an account?
Just go through the normal ordering process online and once you get to the View Cart page and have reviewed your order, select the “Check Out” option. You will be given the option to: “Sign In” if you already have an account with us, “Sign Up” if you wish to create an account with us, or “No Thanks” if you wish to place your order without creating an account. We take the greatest care in keeping your information private, but no worries if you don’t want to setup an account with us. We’re just happy you are able to try our Danish delights!

Can I place an order on the phone and send a check in the mail?
Unfortunately, we cannot enter an order without payment. Our goal is to make sure you get everything you want and the only way to do this is to either order online, order with payment via phone or by mailing your order and check together. We do this because we want to get it right the first time, so you can just sit back, relax and wait for your delicious package to arrive.

When will my order be shipped and be delivered?
Shipping and Receiving! To answer that question, it really depends on what ship date you select. Your order should arrive in 2 business days. For example: if you select your order to ship on Tuesday it will arrive on Thursday during normal UPS delivery hours. The only difference to this method is if you choose to ship on a Thursday or a Friday. UPS does deliver in some areas on Saturday and Sunday, so your package may arrive during the weekend. Please see our expected delivery date during checkout for a more accurate estimate.

What is the fuel charge fee?
We know no one likes the pain at the pump, especially hungry Vikings trying to refuel longships, but as the price of gas and jet fuel remain high, UPS and other carriers charge shippers like O&H, extra fees for fuel usage. Since carriers deliver our bakery via trucks and planes (to get to you fresh!), when prices are too high, carriers require payment for the extra fuel cost. Carriers call these surcharges, which they require us to pay as an add on to shipping fees. These fees fluctuate with the prices in the broader diesel and gas market. You can see an example of this fuel surcharge on UPS’s website.

Where are your stores located?
We are born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin which is located in between Milwaukee and Chicago. We have 5 wonderful stores in that area, so if you want to stop in just click on the Store Locations link below for more information about each store. The Store Locations link is normally displayed in the About Us section on the bottom-right side of each page as well, if you can take your eyes off the images of the delicious bakery!

Can items we sell in our stores be shipped?
Our best answer to that question is: it depends. Some items we can have the right packaging available to ship and make sure it arrives in great condition, other bakery we just aren’t able to get it to you in the right condition. If you love an item and want to see if we can ship, just call us at 1-800-709-4009.

Customer Service Questions

Can I personalize my gift message?
You betcha! We will include a personalized gift message with each ship-to address on your order. Please let your customer service representative know what you would like your gift message to be. Just remember that gift messages can only be 5 lines with each line allowing 30 characters. So please no novels, but poetry is always encouraged. Cherries are red; cranberries are too, add some cream cheese and that makes one Wisconsin Kringle, made just for you!

What are your customer service hours?
Our Customer Service Department is available Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm Central Standard Time. Why just those hours? Well, we like it when we talk to real live people and our customer service team is great and here to help you with any question. If you are outside those hours or if you simply prefer email, you can use our customer service page for assistance. We’ll take a look at your request and get back to you as soon as possible.

How do I change my address, e-mail or contact information?
Things change, we get it. If you have an on-line account with us, start with the "Sign In" link. Once you are signed in, use the "My Account" link to make changes to your information. If you do not have an on-line account with us, please call customer service at 1-877-369-3565.
Product Questions

Do you offer any items for restricted diets?
We do! We believe everyone should be able to enjoy delicious bakery, so if you have specific needs please see our Special Dietary Needs category for items that may be appropriate for you.

Are your products Kosher?
Yes, indeed! Our bakery is Kosher and endorsed by the CRC (Chicago Rabbinical Council). We are regularly inspected by a friendly Rabbi from the CRC who ensures that we are Kosher. In addition, our products are labeled with the CRC symbol, indicating that they are Kosher.

What size/servings are your crown cakes?
Royally delicious, our crown cakes are 7 inches in diameter and serve approximately 13 people. Many are great as a slice on their own, but they are often versatile enough to add fruit, ice cream, and other favorites, so you can make them just how you like it!

Can I have something written on my cake?
Great question! It depends on which cake you select. We are only able to write on our layer cakes. For our everyday layer cakes, we would be happy to write a custom message on your cake for an upcharge of $5.00. We do not offer personalization on many of our Holiday themed cakes because we often take great care in making our entire cake look seasonally beautiful.

What size/servings are the Gourmet Cakes and how are they shipped?
Let them eat cake!! All of our gourmet cakes are 8 inches in diameter and serve approximately 15 people. The cakes are securely packaged and shipped with dry ice inside an insulated shipping container. Serving and handling instructions are included with each shipment.

Oooh! I see you offer eclairs! How big are they and how do you ship them to make sure we receive them in good shape?
Yes, we do and they are delicious! Our eclairs are generously sized, around 6oz each (almost 1/2 a pound!), that is a perfect size for one person. You receive 8 eclairs in our package, so you can share with 7 of your closest friends or family (or not, we won’t blame you!). We ship our Eclairs the same way we do our layer cakes, by packaging them securely and shipping them with compostable and recyclable foam and dry ice to keep them cold and ensure that they stay fresh. Some of us like to eat them chilled as well, so it is a win-win!

How do you warm up the Danish Pecan Sticky Buns?
Our Danish Pecan Sticky Buns are best served warmed.
To Warm:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. For best results, sticky buns should be thawed before warming.
- Remove any clear plastic seal or wrapping from the package.
- Remove the white lid from the black tray (The Danish Pecan Sticky Buns will warm inside the black tray which is oven safe).
- Use a standard oven safe pan and place the Danish Pecan Sticky Buns upside down on the pan, with the black tray facing up on the pan.
- Place the Danish Pecan Sticky Buns in the 350 degree oven for 6 minutes. Carefully remove the black tray and your delicious treat is ready to eat!
