By Odin’s oven mitts, have I got a tale for you!
I am Ohlaf, proud Danish Viking baker and the flour-covered face of O&H Danish Bakery. I was born above a bakery, with the scent of fresh kringle filling my little Viking nose before I could even swing a rolling pin.
Baking is in my blood, my beard and, let’s be honest, probably my boots, too. But while some Vikings set sail for gold and glory, I set out on a far tastier quest: To travel the world, make new friends and bake the most delightful pastries for O&H Danish Bakery—and you.
My journeys have taken me far and wide, each adventure inspiring bold new flavors of O&H Danish Bakery kringle:
- In Italy, I tasted the magic of espresso and mascarpone, leading to my Tiramisu Kringle—as rich as a Viking king’s treasure.
- In Mexico, I crunched into a golden churro and thought, “By Thor’s whisk, this must be kringle-fied!” The Churro Kringle was born.
- In Ireland, I found luck and minty delight in a cup of hot cocoa, which inspired the Green Mint Chocolate Kringle, a treat worthy of the Emerald Isle.
Why me as the O&H Danish Bakery spokesman? Pastries are meant to bring people together, O&H Danish Bakery and I know. We also believe in three keys to a happy life:
- Curiosity: Every kringle has a story, and we want to tell each delicious tale.
- Community: Kringle tastes better when shared with friends, new and old.
- Kindness: A warm pastry and a warm heart go hand-in-hand.
